<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; line-height: 1.4em; text-align: left; padding: 0px;">Ms. Kachel spoke of her job as the Legislative Liaison for UW-Whitewater. When there are bills or the state budget concerning UW-Whitewater, she serves on committees at the state level.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; line-height: 1.4em; text-align: left; padding: 0px;">She notified WSG of upcoming issues: The state senate seat on the 15th will be a hot seat up for grabs, Democrats hold 18-15 majority. Governor&#8217;s race is this year, very important. March 15th a legislative breakfast is being held for representatives of the state and national levels on campus.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; line-height: 1.4em; text-align: left; padding: 0px;">The speaker at that breakfast will be Dr. Russ Kachian talking on the impact of UW-W on the region as far as jobs and the economy.</p>

<li>The Board of Regents is looking to have a more inclusive admissions policy to be more gender neutral or at least less gender biased.</li>
<li>March 1st there&#8217;s going to be a Gender Equity Report at 3 p.m. in UC 259.</li>
<li>The Women&#8217;s Studies and LGBT conference is coming up March 17th, PB Poorman award announced, art show opening, lots of speakers.</li>

<li>Everything&#8217;s moving along as planned. Next step is to analyze all the results, the committee will review them, privacy concerns will be addressed, and then it will be sent back to the person taking care of the overall project. The Chancellor will see it first and then the committee will.</li>
<li>May 4th is when the climate survey results will be presented at an event in the UC. A follow-up event in the fall is being planned for more data result presentations.</li>
